The Academies
THE ACADEMIES ARE EVOLVING...........................
PAMFA'S Academies are run at Sherborne and Wincanton in conjunction with The Gryphon Leisure Centre and Wincanton Sports Centre. These programmes are opportunities for children to help increase their skill levels whilst in a safe, fun and stimulating environment. The academies are not restricted to any skill level and offer an additional opportunity for children to participate in Small Sided friendly games against the other academy. Inter - Academy Tournaments: With the Wincanton academy recently being launched the first tournaments date have not yet been confirmed. These days will include tournaments for all the children ages between 5 - 14yrs who come to the Academies and also there will be dance offs for the best ball fusion dance. Academy News Letters: These will contain information regarding up and coming programmes and courses, players of the term / month. They will be released every term and will be avaible for each player. Academy Merchandise: Due to popular demand some of our Academy members have recently been requesting merchandise. We have therefore released a polo - shirt. Player/ s of the Term Awards: Commencing 2007 As part of our feedback and award process we will be giving term awards to players who have , progressed the most, or tried the hardest or for the best talent of the Term.
